  This is the third Exploding Star Orchestra project from Rob Mazurek that I know of and, as good as the others were, this may be the best of the lot. The personnel has stayed largely the same but there have been some changes so let's go through the lot: Rob Mazurek: leader, composer, cornet and electro-acoustics constructions5/5(2).

Under the direction of cornet player and composer Rob Mazurek they've come up with a program of music which incorporates advances outside of the jazz tradition even while it strikes an extraordinary balance between established precedents .
